房新文总领事会见香港东华三院中学校长参访团（图）

6月9日，房新文总领事会见来澳参访的香港东华三院中学校长参访团。房总领事对代表团的到访表示热烈欢迎，高度评价《香港国安法》颁布以来，香港社会稳定、经济繁荣、国际竞争优势卓越的发展态势。房总领事以香港载荷专家黎家盈的奋斗事迹为例，阐释了“大家”与“小家”相互依存、共同发展的辩证关系，鼓励各位校长引导香港青年学生增强民族自豪感和主人翁意识，在拓展国际视野、传承中华文化、促进民心相通方面发挥更大作用。

会见中，双方围绕澳大利亚国际教育、香港与维州教育交流合作及领区中文教育等进行了深入交流。我馆负责教育事务参赞衔领事丁莉参加活动。

                                    Consul General Fang Xinwen Meets with the Secondary School Principals from Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, Hong Kong SAR                                        

On June 9, Consul General Fang Xinwen met with a delegation of secondary school principals from the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (TWGHs) of Hong Kong SAR.

Consul General Fang extended a warm welcome to the delegation and spoke highly of Hong Kong's social stability, economic prosperity, and outstanding international competitiveness since the implementation of the National Security Law.

Citing the inspiring story of Hong Kong payload specialist Lai Ka-ying, Consul General Fang explained the dialectical relationship of interdependence and mutual development between the "greater family" (the nation) and the "smaller family" (the individual/household). He encouraged the principals to guide young students in Hong Kong to enhance their sense of national pride, and to play a greater role in expanding international horizons, inheriting Chinese culture, and promoting people-to-people connectivity.

During the meeting, the two sides held in-depth exchanges on Australia's international education, educational exchanges and cooperation between Hong Kong and Victoria, and Chinese language education within the consular district.Consul Ding Li (counselor rank) for Educational Affairs of the Consulate General attended the event.
