The role
Senior Accountant (60k-70k)
• Accounts Payable (AP) Management: F&B involves high volumes of invoices from many suppliers (produce, meat, alcohol). You’ll ensure suppliers are paid on time to keep the supply chain moving.

• Accounts Receivable (AR) Management: responsible for collection and communication with customers and ensure payments are made on time and correctly.

• Ensure accurate petty cash recording and reconciliation.

• Ensure accurate and timely bank reconciliation.

• Address discrepancies / inconsistencies and ensure follow up in a timely manner.

• Identify process improvements in Accounts Payable and related processes to deliver efficiencies.

• Journal entries recording.

• BAS working sheet preparation and lodgement.

• Reports preparation: weekly sales report and P/L statement.

• Ad hoc duties as required.

What we are looking for
• 2-3+ years' experience in a similar role.
• Permanent working rights without conditions.
• Experience in MYOB.
• An understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Intermediate skills in MS Excel.
• Well-developed communications skills and the ability to stay patient, negotiate and proactively solve problems.
• Time management skills and working under fast paced environment.
